We use the highest amount of folate allowed without a prescription to support early fetal development and reduce the risk of neural tube defects, which form in the very first weeks—often before pregnancy is detected. Taking folate during preconception helps ensure your body is ready from day one.
Iron before pregnancy helps build healthy stores, which are often depleted once pregnancy begins. We use a moderate dose to support your levels without causing discomfort.
Only about 6% of women meet daily choline needs, getting enough before conception is especially important for fetal neural tube development
Iodine supports healthy thyroid function, and building levels at least three months before conception is important for your baby’s brain development. Since iodine is common in table salt, we include a moderate amount to avoid excess.
Supports immune and reproductive health, and building adequate levels before pregnancy is key. Since over half of women have insufficient Vitamin D, we include 1,500 IU to help promote optimal levels for a healthy pregnancy.
